Tkachuk has all the tools to succeed in the NHL September 01, 2016

Matthew Tkachuk has high hopes for the upcoming 2016-17 NHL season, and based on his recent performances, it should come as no surprise if he sticks with his club out of training camp. Drafted 6^th overall in the 2016 NHL Draft by the Calgary Flames, the 19-year-old is coming off a spectacular rookie season in the OHL. The Scottsdale, Arizona-native tallied 107 points in the regular season and 40 points in the playoffs, where he helped guide the London Knights to a league title.  He finished the season on a high note, scoring the winning goal for London in the Memorial Cup.

The son of former All-star winger Keith Tkachuk, Matthew possesses his father’s same rare combination of physicality and skill, and after his fantastic 2015-16 season, a winning pedigree to boot.
