Marchand and Bruins come to terms on contract extension September 26, 2016
Two days removed from being named first star in Canada’s 5-3 win over Russia in the semifinals of the World Cup of Hockey, Brad Marchand was back in the news on Monday, agreeing to an 8-year, $49 million contract extension with the Boston Bruins. The 28-year-old winger is coming off a career year that saw him register new career-highs in goals (37) and points (60).
