NHL Draft
Rimouski star goalie Phillipe Desrosiers taken 54th overall July 02, 2013
After his electrifying performance in the IIHF Under-18 World Hockey Championships led Team Canada to the gold medal, it was no surprise to see Phillipe Desrosiers go as high as the second round in the 2013 NHL entry draft, taken 54th overall by Dallas Stars. Blessed with excellent positioning and a very good butterfly, the native of Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec was full value in his first full season with the Rimouski Océanic, posting a record of 22-8-5 with a GAA of 3.07 and a save percentage of .900.
