Stamkos shines in preseason finale October 11, 2016
Steven Stamkos was excellent in Tampa Bay’s preseason finale on Saturday, claiming first star honours in a 5-3 win over the Nashville Predators. Playing in his first competitive game since winning gold at the World Cup of Hockey with Team Canada, the 26-year-old center looked like he was in midseason form, registering 3 assists, 3 shots on net and a +2 rating.
