CAPITALS SIGN DYLAN STROME TO FIVE-YEAR CONTRACT EXTENSION February 03, 2023 - TSN

Dylan Strome is excited to make Washington his long-term home, signing a five-year, $25 million contract extension with the Capitals on Friday. 

 

“Dylan is an intelligent and skilled center and has been a great addition to our organization,” said senior vice president and general manager Brian MacLellan in a relase. “We are pleased to sign him to a long-term contract. We feel his skill set is a great fit for our team as he enters the prime years of his career at an important position.”

Strome Records Second Career Hat Trick March 09, 2022 - CBS Sports

Dylan Strome scored three goals, added an assist and went plus-3 in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Ducks, to record his second career NHL hat trick.

Strome scored once in each period to earn his hat trick. He also had a helper on Alex DeBrincat's first-period tally. Strome has been hot throughout the month of March so far, recording six goals and three assists in his last four outings. The 25-year-old center is up to 15 goals and 30 points through 45 appearances overall.

The Blackhawks will travel to Boston on Thursday to take on the Bruins.
