Pavel Francouz currently plays for the Colorado Avalanche of the NHL. Signed as a free agent in May of 2018, the Czech-born goaltender had a breakout season with the Avalanche in 2019-20, tallying a record of 21-7-4, with a 2.41 goals against average along with .923 save percentage.

Francouz Returns to Home Ice with Back to Back Wins January 11, 2022 - Mile High Sports
Pavel Francouz skated on home ice Saturday night for the first time March 11, 2020. He backstopped the Avalanche to an exciting victory against the visiting Maple Leafs, after missing the entire 2020-21 season rehabbing from a hip injury that dated back to the 2020 playoffs. Francouz then followed up Saturday’s win with another strong performance last night, helping the Avalanche defeat the Seattle Kraken 4-3.
It has been a long road back to the Colorado lineup for the Czech netminder, who is above all else - happy to be back playing hockey again.
