Lars Eller is the first Danish-born player in NHL history to reach 1,000 games. Eller was drafted in the 2007 NHL Draft by the St. Louis Blues. Over his career, which has included notable stints with the Montreal Canadiens, a Stanley Cup with the Washington Capitals, and a brief tenure with the Colorado Avalanche.
