Selected by Nashville Predators round 1 #11 overall 2014 NHL Entry Draft
Kevin Fiala currently plays for the Minnesota Wild of the NHL. Selected 11th overall by the Nashville Predators in the 2014 NHL Draft, the St. Gallen, Switzerland-native enjoyed his breakout season with the club in 2017-18, tallying 48 points (including 23 goals) in 80 games played. Traded to the Minnesota Wild during the the 2017-18 season, the left winger has gone on to tally back-to-back, 20-goal campaigns for the club. As of 2021, Fiala has registered 198 points (91 goals, 107 assists) in 337 games played, split between Nashville and Minnesota.

COUNTRIES ANNOUNCE FIRST SIX PLAYERS FOR 2026 OLYMPIC MEN’S HOCKEY TEAMS June 16, 2025 - Olympics.com
All 12 participating national hockey federations have announced the first six players named to their preliminary men’s rosters for the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo.
Final rosters will consist of 25 players and must be submitted in early 2026. The men’s hockey tournament is scheduled to begin on February 11, 2026.

The King Clancy Memorial Trophy nominations were announced on Wednesday, with several Newport Sports clients receiving the honor. The group includes Los Angeles Kings forward Kevin Fiala, Ottawa Senators forward Brady Tkachuk, Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Laughton, and Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson.
The King Clancy Memorial Trophy is awarded annually to the National Hockey League player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and who has made a significant humanitarian contribution to his community.

Kevin Fiala recorded one of the best performances of his career last night, as the Minnesota Wild steamrolled the Colorado Avalanche by a score of 8-3. The 24-year-old native of St. Gallen, Switzerland tallied 4 points in the contest — including his first career hat trick — and would eventually go on to be named the first star of the game. The talented winger has been in great form of late, registering a point or more in 7 straight games.
